Cinematography & Editing
Next2Act Productions breaks a client brief down shot by shot, frame by frame —
because a memorable film is built in the planning, not rescued in the edit.
Scripting, direction, multi-camera shooting, sound, colour and edit. Corporate documentaries,
training series, executive interviews, event films and campaign work.
How we think about a shot
- Framing. Subjects sit on the thirds, not dead centre — dead centre kills tension.
- Light. Key defines, fill softens, back separates. The key-to-fill ratio carries the emotional weight of a scene.
- Movement. Pan for reveals, tilt for scale, dolly for intimacy. Every move justifies itself through story, not style.
- Colour. Grade for feeling first, accuracy second.
- Shutter. Double the frame rate — 25fps at 1/50s — for motion blur that reads cinematic rather than clinical.
The consulting side of the business means we usually understand your sector before the first
shoot day, so the questions in an interview actually land.
